Bruce joined KEYC-TV as his first in the year 1974. At least five of his years in journalism were spent here working at first as a news reporter and then a sports director. He moved to Los Angeles and worked in KIMT-TV as a news director and anchor in Mansion City. The other two stations include the WREX-TV in Rockford, Illinois, and WILX-TV in Lansing, Michigan. In these TV stations, he worked as an anchor.
Aune joined KCRG in 1989, anchoring in the 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm news. Out of the different assignments, Bruce has visited most countries including China, Japan, and Russia. Currently, 9TV is his current work station. After his retirement, Bruce mentioned that he might spend his time with his wife in Israel. Also, having fun all around.
