Mae Stephens is the younger child of Alex and Stephen Kelly, who named her Anna Mae Kelly at birth. As for siblings, Mae has an elder brother named Nathan.
Anna hails from Kettering, Northamptonshire. Her parents exchanged marital vows on April 12, 1996, and commemorated their 27th wedding anniversary this April.
Mae also composed a song depicting her parents’ love story. Her father enlisted in the army two months after her mother did.

He received his education at Army Apprentice College Harrogate and is currently self-employed.
Reportedly, Alex saw Stephen for the first time and was deeply captivated by her, although her mother was unaware of his identity.
Her father persisted in his efforts to catch her attention, showing great patience, and despite initial difficulties, she eventually noticed him.
In November 2019, Mae posted a picture of her parents in the studio where she worked.

Trainor achieved global success with her first single, “All About That Bass,” in 2014 and clinched a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2016.
She also served as a judge on The Voice UK in 2020 and participated in Australian Idol this year.
Reflecting on their partnership, Stephens remarked that they had their similarities, and collaborating with her is a true dream come true.
