Survive the Raft, Discovery Channel new reality show premiered on July 30, 2023. Nine candidates sail for 21 days on the Acai II raft.
The show is based on a 50-year-old social experiment that will test each cast’s survival skills and ability to get along.
The show will examine their caliber to be the ultimate title winner, and if they fail their test, they will jeopardize the team’s chance to win a fortune.
All of them with different backgrounds, interests, and skills will stay together, eat together and work together during their stay on the raft.
Similarly, at the end of each week, one crew member will be evicted. The team member will vote out the least deserving candidate.
And the last remaining will get a chance to win $250,000, divided equally amongst the team members as per the rules.
What Happened To Jonathan On Survive The Raft?
Jonathan from Survive The Raft went through a serious medical emergency and suffered a seizure after fishing in the sun all day in episode 1.
When his fellow cast mates saw him suffering, they quickly took action and called for medical help and made sure that he was safe.
The leader of the congregation was immediately taken off the raft for further examination with the hope of his good health.
But unfortunately, after going through a thorough health examination, the doctor did not allow him to continue the show, and hence he won’t return back.
According to his social media, Rabbi Jonathan is safe and sound outside the show. He also shared a post about the new show he was part of.
Many of his well-wishers showed concern about his health and shared their happiness as he was safe from the seizure and were equally upset as they could not see more of his personality.

Previously, he has served as General Manager, Zone Operations Manager, Shift Supervisor, and Electronic Warfare Officer in various renowned companies.
Rabbi Jonathan went to Praire View A&M University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science in 2004.
Later, he graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in Theological Studies and also did MBA from Washington State University.
Jonathan Survive the Raft is married to his childhood sweetheart Melina Dade. They have been in a relationship with each other for almost two decades.

Survive The Raft Host Nate Boyer
The Discovery reality television show Survive The Raft Host is Nate Boyer. He is an actor, former NFL player, and US Army Green Beret.
He is 42 years old and originally belonged from Tennessee, USA. He celebrates his birthday on January 9, and his zodiac sign is Capricorn.
Boyer has also hosted the NFL original series Indivisible in the year 2019 and 2020, respectively. He has also directed movies and founded an organization called MVP.

Surviving The Raft was filmed near Panama’s Pearl Island where the contestants sail on the Acali II for twenty-one days.
