Kristy and Tarsha went home on Crime Scene Kitchen Episode 9. Jenae and Christina & Dayveon and Donovan were eliminated in the previous episodes.
Fox’s Crime Scene Kitchen, which debuted on May 26, 2021, returned for its second season on June 5, 2023.
The reality baking competition series continues to spice things up by serving an exciting culinary guessing game that will whet anyone’s appetite with its mouthwatering bakes.
Season 2 will feature twelve new teams of bakers -six teams of amateur bakers and six teams of classically trained bakers- with returning judges Curtis Stone and Yolanda Gampp.
Joel McHale will once again serve as the host and guide the competition.
In each episode, the contenders are tasked with creating the type of dessert made in a kitchen using only flour trails, crumbs, and a few clues.
They are asked to recreate the dessert they identify, from scratch, for the judges. The worst-performing team in the second round is eliminated from the competition.
Who Went Home On Crime Scene Kitchen?
Steph and Cherry went home on Crime Scene Kitchen Episode 8. Torre & Michelle, Dayveon and Donovan & Jenae and Christina were eliminated in the previous episodes.
Each episode includes two rounds, starting with a safety round in which the bakers search for clues such as baking tools, food scraps, or any other items possibly used in the recipe.
Using their knowledge to crack the mystery dish, the teams must collect clues to recreate the item.
The team closest to unraveling the mystery item is granted immunity from the second round, moving on to the next week of the crime scene challenge.

The remaining teams must return to another crime scene kitchen for the elimination round. The baking duo with the lowest performance is sent home each week.
The contenders must think outside the proverbial dessert box to head to the next round and get closer to the $100,000 cash prize.
Episode 1: Welcome Self Taught Bakers
Crime Scene Kitchen Season 2 Episode 1 saw the baking duos figuring out that the mystery item was not only a pie but a citrus pie.
For the most part, it appears everyone was on a similar wavelength. So, now it’s about how many elements of the pie did the teams get right.
Tarsha & Kristy made a Key Lime Pie, Torre & Mishelle made Lemon Chiffon Pie, Donovan & Dayveon made Citrus Curd Pie, and T & Fadi made a Lemon Meringue Pie.
The other bakers, Kath & Hannah made a Lemon Chiffon Pie, and Steph & Cherry made a Broadwalk Pie.
The dessert from the crime scene was an Atlantic Beach Pie (also known as a Broadwalk Pie), meaning Steph and Curry won the safety round.

Episode 2: Meet the Classically-Trained Competition
Crime Scene Kitchen Season 2 Episode 2 introduced the classically trained bakers.
For the first challenge, the bakers made donuts of different flavors, including a Mixed Berry Jam Filled Donut, a White Chocolate Vanilla Glaze Donut, and a Maple Bacon Bar Donut.
They were supposed to make a Chocolate Glazed Boston Creme, two Sprinkle donuts, and a Strawberry-Filled Sugared donut.
Laissa and Camille won the challenge with their three donuts -a Chocolate Glazed, a Strawberry, and a Raspberry donut.
In the elimination challenge, Ricky & DJ made a three-layer pavlova, Bob & Vikki made an almond dacquoise with berries, and Jenae & Christina made a three-layer dacquoise with berries.
The other team, Sherry & Sally opted for a pavlova and Amber and Yassmeen made a cocoa macaron cake with berries.
The mystery dessert was pavlova cake with berries.
Sadly, Jenae and Christina were sent home in Crime Scene Kitchen Episode 2.
Episode 3: Self-Taught Not So Simple
In the third week, the self-taught bakers had to investigate a twist on an all-time favorite sweet during the safety bake round.
The contestants had the clues such as recipe cards on the counter, two different square pans drying, pecans and eggs on the counter, caramel decoy, mint extracts, and more.
So, what was the mystery dessert? It was Mint Cream Brownies & Coffee Oat Crumb Brownies.
Team Cherry & Steph won the challenge with their Coffee Streusel Brownies and Creme de Menthe Brownies.
In the elimination bake, the remaining teams had the clues such as graham crackers, burnt parchment paper, coca powder, eggs, berries (missing) from the fridge, and more.
So, what do you think the mystery dessert could be? This time it was Basque Cheesecake.
Sadly, Torre & Mitchell were eliminated from Crime Scene Kitchen on episode 3.
Episode 7: The Merge – A Total Crepe Shoot
In week seven, with six teams remaining, the classically trained bakers go head-to-head against the self-taught bakers. The teams use their detective and math skills to survive in the elimination round.
T and Fadi win the first challenge with their Apple Tarte Tatin and went straight to the quarterfinals.
For the elimination round, Camille & Laissa, Steph & Cherry, and Yass & Amber made a 30-layer chocolate crepe cake. Sally & Sherry cut their 30-layer chocolate crepe cake into four portions.
Tarsha & Kristy were the only team to make a 20-layer crepe cake.
What was the mystery desert? This time it was a 30-layer crepe cake filled with velvety cream diplomat surrounded by a layer of chocolate genoise.
